Project Reflection
1. What did you have to learn to complete this project? How did you learn it?
- For this project I had to create a screen cast on a quick and easy Popplet.com tutorial. Though I didn't have to learn new material, I had a goal to refine my narrating skills by practice, practice, practice.
- I benefited from this project by refining my narrating skills. I believe that I am slowly improving.
- Narrating has always been a struggle of mine. I believe that the only way to resolve it is by practicing.
- I plan on using this to help me improve my narrating skills. Maybe one day I will have an actual implementation for this particular tutorial.
- The next step is practice and more practice of my narrating skills.
Masters Literature Review
The research section while working on my master’s was the most dreaded section for me, because my undergraduate work was nothing related to my graduate work. All of the research I conducted was new material to me. My committee chair area of expertise is Educational Psychology and Instructional Design, so I was expected to learn and research the most relevant material. as much as I most possibly could. Nevertheless, looking back I am so grateful that I stuck through it to learn the theories and models so I can explain and apply certain technology is best for different learning content or areas.
